Yo LAUR enjoyed a great success during her career and began exhibiting at the Paris Salon in 1900. In 1908 she became a member of the Society of French Artists. Freemason and Member of the french resistance during the Second World War, she was arrested by the Nazis in Paris and was deported to the concentration camp of Ravensbruck where she died in 1944.
The canvas measures 73cm by 60 and with the frame the painting measures 93cm by 80. An old restoration to be reported on the canvas but invisible on the painted side. beautiful gilded frame made of wood and stucco.
