Object description :

"Venetian Console In Gilded Wood, Louis XV"
This console was made in the 18th century in Venice, Italy, from carved and gilded wood. The recessed top is in pink marble. The console has a Louis XV style line, with a strongly shaped top, a band and curved legs. On the front and sides the band features a carved decoration with scroll motifs and phytomorphic elements in the Rocaille style. On the front we find a burin workmanship. The four legs are crossed by floral branches in relief and carved feet.
The brilliance of the gold and the refined Venetian curved lines of this console make it an important piece of furniture, perfect for placing in an entrance, living room or lounge, combined with antique or modern furnishings.
