"Krishna, Stone, Nepal, 16/17th"
Sculpture in black stone, sandstone, representing Krishna playing the flute. He is surrounded by two Gopis who are devoted to him. Surface wear due to age and remains of red powder during pujas. Taking into account the patina we can estimate this small stele dated from the 16/17th century and appeared in a private Newar altar.
