"Neo-renaissance Desk In Hand Carved Wood Henri II Style Circa 1870"
Important neo-renaissance oak desk from the second half of the 19th century. The lower part, alternating with twisted columns reminiscent of the Louis XIII style, is entirely hand-carved and has three drawers on each box and three drawers in the belt. The top is covered with red faux leather. The upper part, composed of four drawers and two letterboxes, is topped with an openwork pediment, carved with foliage motifs. The back of the desk is entirely decorated with bas relief sculptures
