Boulle clock, early 18th century, Terrier A Paris. TThe mechanism was made by David or Isaac Terrier (father and son). It was made around 1720. The console and the clock itself are original (they were not subsequently completed), as evidenced by the signature in several places (about 10) of the case and the console with the letter "F" and bronze application stamping with the letter "E". To date, we have not been able to determine the manufacturers of the bronzes and the case. The Terrier family of Parisian watchmakers was one of the most renowned in France at the time. The clock has been preserved in excellent condition. All the bronzes and marquetry elements are from the period. The incandescent gilding of the bronzes is even perfectly preserved.
