"Art Deco Vases By Michel Herman (hem) Circa 1930"
Pair of vases from the 1930s, Art Deco period, by Michel Herman (HEM), in black crystal opaline; silver decoration, by hand, of peacocks and butterflies. In very good condition, these vases "ring" in a clear and crystalline way under the fingers. The peacock decoration is a classic from the 1930s. The silvering is a little faded in places, but this seems intentional because it is quite symmetrical on the two vases. Both are signed HEM. They are in very good condition, a single tiny chip on the edge of one of them, see photos. The price is for the pair.
