Charming pair of Neo-Renaissance style armchairs dating from the end of the 19th century. The front feet are shaped like a lion's paw. The crosspiece connecting the legs is composed of a frieze of quatrefoil ovals decorated with flowers. The uprights are straight and decorated with geometric patterns and a flower in the center. The armrests are carved with floral motifs and a lion's head. The top of the backrest uprights is carved with an acanthus leaf. The tapestry is patterned with bouquets of flowers and is in very good condition. France - 19th century
