Two accidents restored “museum style” on the terrace. The photographs show the statuette before and after restoration executed with modeling plaster and watercolor; it is therefore easily reversible and replaced by a more sophisticated restoration.
These statuettes are of the greatest rarity in the production of these Lower Normandy center. Some examples are listed in specialized literature, in particular the famous "nurse", but I did not find any trace of "Virgin and Child". This is therefore an exceptional piece
