Charming little Louis XVI style chest of drawers in mahogany veneer, quality work from Faubourg Saint Antoine around 1930x
ideal  proportions, this chest of drawers rests on 4 beautifully turned ornate barrel legs bronze shoes at their end.
the body has a slight central projection opens with three drawers on the front with a geometric decoration of the veneer decorated with Louis XVI keyholes and bronze pull knobs.
the sides are rounded and have a pretty geometric veneer work in squares, more precisely in quartefeuilles.
a pretty raised belt highlights the movement above the feet and we find this movement on the very purple brocatelle which tops the whole. the brocatelle is original .
the drawers are mounted with dovetails and work perfectly.
no major restoration to report, this chest of drawers is in excellent condition and has received a satin varnish that is not flashy, sober and light.
a small practical chest of drawers, ideal in proportions, decorative and very easy to place.
