Giuseppe Cherubini, born in Ancona and trained in Rome, moved to Venice in 1902, where he worked until his death, executing several works in its churches and theaters (La Fenice). He participated in the Venice Biennale in 1905 and 1926. He exhibited in such cities as London, Berlin, Munich, Venice, Rome and Monza. In 1947 Venice granted him honorary citizenship. Venetian foreshortenings and genre scenes predominate in his production.
