Shoulder of a laughing satyr. Finely chiseled bronze, dark brown patina. Stamped on the back: “C. Fischer. Feb. 1846"

Height 20 cm

Christoph Fischer was represented as a bronze caster at the exhibitions of the Berlin Academy since 1824 and taught there since 1838. Sculptors such as Rauch, Drake and Kiss cast their works at his home.
