Superb and rare pair of Louis XVI/Directory sconces, In bronze, With the attributes of Hermes/Mercury, We can observe a large caduceus topped with the winged petasus, The sconces have two lights with scrolls of acanthus leaves, Pearls , water leaves, fluted binets, ending with clusters, High quality work from the end of the 18th century/early 19th century.
