Good general condition, only one damaged cork.
19th century period.
Dimensions of the large bottle: 55.5 cm, diam. 11.5 cm, small bottle: 41 cm, diam. 9.5 cm
These large elongated bottles with their faceted, pointed caps were the rarest and it is still difficult to find them today. These bottles were displayed in the windows of pharmacists and apothecaries to show the opulence of the pharmacy. They are characteristic of pharmacies in the 19th century. If the bottles were made of white glass, they were often filled with colored liquid, methylene blue or other.
