"Creamer Compagnie Des Indes 18th Century "pourpre De Cassius""
Creamer from the Compagnie des Indes (Indian Compagny) dating from the 18th century in the Yung Chen style (1723-1735) even if no mark is present on the pot (that is not unusual). This “famille rose” enamel, also called “Cassius purple”, was obtained from gold salts by a Dutchman. It is very well preserved and has its original lid. Very slight hairiness inside but not visible from the outside (see pictures).
