Pham Luan was born in 1954 in Hanoi, Vietnam. He is a graduate of Hanoi Teacher's Training College and self-taught in visual arts. Pham Luan is currently a member of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association and the Hanoi Fine Arts Association. He is considered a specialist in oil painting and is one of the leading artists of his generation. Pham Luan is represented by major galleries and exhibits regularly in the United States, Hong Kong and Thailand. The painting was created for his first exhibition in 1997 and presents a landscape of the Hanoi region. The painting technique is flexible and dynamic, demonstrating a great mastery of oil painting. size with frame: 131 x 106 cm
