"18th Century Silver Oil Cruet And Vinegar Cruet"
Louis XVI period silver oil and vinegar bowl. The oval-shaped top nicely engraved with floral motifs all around rests on 4 small fluted feet; it is centered on a column surmounted by an urn at the bottom of which the supports which hold the lids during use are fixed. On each side are the openwork and chiseled buckets which hold the transparent crystal decanters; the decanters may not be original; in fact, 1 of the lids fits perfectly but the other does not fit correctly.
