Transition style chest of drawers from the first part of the 20th century. It opens with 2 large drawers with central projection. Its rosewood marquetry is fine and open like butterfly wings. It is supported by mahogany fillets with Greek motifs and framed by a rosewood border. It is topped with a Fleur de Pêcher grooved marble. Its gilded bronze trim is of high quality carving and gilding (drops, keyholes, pull handles, base of lamp and sabots) It is entirely veneered on a solid oak frame.
