Object description :

"Porcelain Jug Called "cadogan" With Celadon Glaze And Relief Flowers - China Late 18th Century"
Beautiful porcelain ewer called "Cadogan" in the shape of a peach with Celadon glaze, and copper red at the neck. The teapot is also decorated with flowers and foliage in blue relief at the spout and at the handle. The copper red decor and the flowers are particularly beautiful.
China Late 18th century/early 19th century
Qianlong/Jiaqing period (1736-1820)

Height: 14cm
Length from the spout to the end of the handle: 18.6cm

The shape of this so-called "Cadogan" jug is particular, since it has no no opening at the collar. Indeed, it is filled through the hole located at the base, here the unglazed part of the jug.

Perfect condition, a tiny hair of cooking on the part connecting the spout to the body of the teapot.
