"Couple - Mambila/véré Culture, Cameroon - First Half Of The 20th Century "
COUPLE of two individual figures standing with their arms at their sides: a MATERNITY and a MAN, slightly taller and wearing a necklace around his neck, both doing similar stylistic work. Their ears are C-shaped, set forward at the temples, their hair is in applied curls and their feet are wide and circular. It is said that this type of statuette was reserved for altars.
