"Incense Burner From Katsuyoshi Kotoge In Kyoto Japan"
A two-tone spherical shaped incense burner. The lid pierced with 9 holes in greyed white enamelled stoneware and golden handle. The main body in glazed and veined earth-colored stoneware. Made by master Katsuyoshi Kotoge (called Tanyama), born in 1946 in Himeji, Japan. Trained by his uncle Kasai Miyagawa and Tatsuzo Shimaoka National Treasure of Mashiko. He has exhibited numerous times in Kyoto, Tokyo and Osaka.
