Imposing pair of bronze candlesticks from the Louis XV period. These torches are high quality models both in their execution and in the material. They are made from a very thick bronze with gold highlights and ring like a bell. Ribbed decoration in strong relief enhanced with garlands of laurel leaves on the shafts and the base. Hexagonal bases with strong plinth and shoulder. Hexagonal bins with matching decorations. Each of the barrels screws onto the base. Very good stability, no restoration.
