"Box In Tortoiseshell Stitched With Gold And Silver"
Pretty round box in tortoiseshell stitched with gold and silver, gold clasp and hinge with eagle's head hallmark, decorated with a painted miniature representing a portrait of Henry IV. This box has a particularly careful old repair with silver leaf (see photos).
