Interesting oil painting on canvas depicting the clown Grock on the violin by the famous 1930s painter and poster artist Paul Colin. The previous owners have collected a small documentation which is attached with among other things the copy of the page of the auction catalog of Mo Briest at the Hôtel Drouot in 1986 which reproduces our painting. It is a work full of spirit, typical of Paul Colin's production. The clown Grock was undoubtedly the most famous of his time. Dimensions outside frame: 55cm by 38cm.
