"Hemp Shirt - France 19th Century"
19th century France Beautiful Hemp work shirt from the French countryside around 1850. Remarkable hand sewing work with yokes on the shoulders and pleated work on the re-embroidered cuffs. Cotton collar closed with a white glass button. Rustic hemp canvas with a certain stiffness. Clean and ironed. Note a slight trace of folding on the back, otherwise very good condition. Dimensions: Equivalent to young man size 50.
