Beautiful watercolor representing the flower market at the Conciergerie in Paris.
Watercolor with charcoal highlight signed lower left Frank Will (1900-1951). Frank Will is a painter renowned in particular for his views of Paris.
Very good condition, without foxing.
In a glass frame.

Son of Frank Myers Boggs, painter of American origin, Frank-Will developed a passion for music and painting at a very young age.
Born in the Paris region in Nanterre, the views of Paris naturally constituted his first favorite theme. He also painted Normandy and La Rochelle.
He lived in Montmartre for a long time and died in Clichy in 1950. He is buried in the Père-Lachaise cemetery.
