Son of Frank Myers Boggs, painter of American origin, Frank-Will developed a passion for music and painting at a very young age.
Born in the Paris region in Nanterre, the views of Paris naturally constituted his first favorite theme. He also painted Normandy and La Rochelle.
He lived in Montmartre for a long time and died in Clichy in 1950. He is buried in the Père-Lachaise cemetery.
French President François Mitterrand said of him: “Some are no longer visible on the Butte Montmartre. But their presence is there... with this truly Parisian Montmartre spirit, of this sweet Paris, as Frank-Will knew how to paint it with this mixture of finesse and hidden depth. »
