Inkwell or writing case in gray and blue glazed sandstone from Westerwald with openwork decoration of human figures and flowers. Germany, 17th century. Dimensions: length 17 cm - depth 12.5 cm - height 9 cm. Collection mark and date 1645 incised under the base of the object. Feet missing. Good general condition despite a few chips.
