Superb large Tea and Coffee Set in solid silver c.1930. Complete service comprising a Teapot, Coffee Pot, Covered Sugar Bowl and Jug / Creamer, a total of 4 Pieces decorated with stylized gadroons, and an engraved intertwined monogram on the front of each piece (see photos). The stylized gadroon decor is repeated in both the finals and handles of the sugar bowl. Interiors of the sugar bowl and creamer are in Vermeil (Gold on Silver), and handles are rosewood.
Masterly crafted from the highest quality silver, each piece is punched with the Minerva 1st Standard hallmark (.950) and mark of celebrated Master Goldsmiths TETARD Frères, with their signature in full “TETARD Frès Paris”.
