"Louis XV Style Fireplace Clockset Attributed To François Linke"
Magnificent and rare fireplace set including a clock forming a carriage and its two candelabra.The setis attributed to the famous craftsman François Linke.
François Linke (1855 - 1946) was undoubtedly the most important cabinetmaker of his time. Initially an apprentice in his hometown of Pankraz in Bohemia , Linke arrived in Paris in 1875 and founded his own workshop in 1881 at 170 rue de Faubourg Saint Antoine.

Candelabra: H 28 cm, with its base 32 cm, D 24 cm
The clockset is in unrestored condition.
Excellent quality set , very rare to see and to find.
