Study of a female nude, Oil on wooden panel, impressionism – attributed to Lucien Mignon (1865 – 1844).
After studying at the Angers School of Fine Arts, Lucien Mignon was admitted in 1886 to the Paris School of Fine Arts. He was notably a student of Jean-Léon Gérome and Pierre-Auguste Renoir who influenced him considerably. Impressionist painter, Lucien Mignon notably painted numerous still lifes and charming female nudes.
