Jean DEYROLLE belongs to the young avant-garde which renewed abstract art after the Second World War. Influenced by Paul Sérusier and the Nabis, he is nicknamed “The abstract Nabi”. It is present in numerous museums in France and abroad. He received the Kandinski Prize in 1948. The work we are presenting to you is signed lower right "J. Deyrolle".
