Bust of Bonaparte base on a green marble base. Font by Jullien rue Pasquier in Paris. Beautiful patina, very beautiful base, one of the most popular representations of Bonaparte. Louis Boizot, neoclassical sculptor, studied at the Royal Academy of Painting and Sculpture in Paris. Student of Michel Ange Slodtz, Prix de Rome in 1762. Founder's stamp on the back of the effigy and under the base. Signed L Boizot on the shoulder.
