"Louis XV Commode, Painted Wood, 18th Century"
Louis XV period chest of drawers, in painted wood. Charming model of Louis XV period chest of drawers of attractive proportions, still inspired by the Louis molded, the lower front rail is symmetrically scrolled, the corner uprights are rounded and carved with grooves, the sides of the furniture are straight with paneling work. Built in oak, it is painted in very soft tones of highlighted green, the chest of drawers is topped with a wooden top molded with a small corbin beak, painted in imitation of marble, very pretty patina of the 'together. Original bronze ornamentation (with the exception of the keyhole of the bottom drawer), with pretty falling handles still in the spirit of the Regency with their natural patinas. This piece of furniture dating from the second half of the 18th century is in a very good state of conservation with a very pretty patina, all of the original wood, and period locks.
