Paul Guiramand (1926-2007) "Archères III" Very pretty bronze sculpture with brown patina Signed and numbered 285/1000 and bearing the foundry stamp of the Mohon bronzes Height: 29 cm Figurative painter, sometimes close to abstraction, Paul Guiramand is one of the young painters of the New School of Paris. He is enrolled at the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts in Paris in the studio of Jean Dupas. In particular, he was one of the students of the painter Maurice Brianchon (1899-1979). In addition to that of his teacher, the influence of Picasso and Matisse led him to figurative painting freed from the constraints of realism.
