Alain Ducoté was born in 1937. His grandfather was an art founder, his father a sculptor, and he a painter. Alain Ducoté entered the Beaux-Arts in Nice in 1950. Having become a mechanic, he then devoted himself to painting. having discovered motorsport in 1950, the proximity of Monaco allowed him to attend the Grand Prix and to talk about the cars. On this painting, it is the Grand Prix automobile, De Nice, 1933, with an audio annotation, different cars and their drivers passing in front of the Négresco hotel
