I was unable to find the exact shape despite extensive research, but this weapon is reminiscent of the Banda throwing knives of the DRC, or certain models of the Laka of Chad, perhaps more likely.
The main characteristic of this weapon is the rear hook near the handle, which is not found on the Laka models, and on the other hand is oriented towards it and not upwards, as on the majority of knives from the DRC
Both sides are chiseled with geometric patterns, the points being not decorated on their rear side. The handle is covered with a rattan braid that has hardened over time.
This object was collected in central Africa in the 1950s
Nice and very decorative object, very different from the models usually encountered
Shipping costs France €20, Europe €30
