Throwing Knife, From Chad, Unusual Model
This throwing knife is obviously of African origin. Its shape links it to the weapons of Central Africa.
Although I was unable to find the exact shape despite extensive research, this weapon is very close to certain Massalit throwing knives from Chad.
Both sides are chiseled with geometric patterns. The handle is covered with a rattan braid that has hardened over time.
This item was collected in central Africa in the 1950s
Nice and very decorative object, very different from the models usually encountered
Shipping costs France €20, Europe €30
Ref 3YW-2434
