Rare Pewter Wine Pitcher - Lyon, Circa 1700

Pewter truncated cone pitcher with cylindrical base, quarter-round cup and two-bud thumbscrew.
Mmarks:
1° -  Gauging mark :
- arms of Lyon which are gules with the silver lion, to the head of France
- arms of France which are azure with three lilies of gold
- arms of CHARLIEU (near Roanne) which are: quartered silver and sable
2° - hallmark of Jean II TISSEUR received master in 1669, appointed sampler: I / star / T.
Height: 18 cm
LYON, Last third of the 17th century or very beginning of the 18th century

The low and flush gauges of this measure are respectively 0.462 liters and 0.561 liters; they limit the gauge of the ½ pint Lyonnaise which is 0.529. tury
Very interesting very abundantly hallmarked pitcher, which testifies to the adoption by a geographically distant locality of this characteristic Lyon truncated conical typology.
The cover has most likely been very skillfully replaced identically and some slight impacts are reported on the entire piece
