Very beautiful pair of gouaches representing landscapes animated with characters in an environment of mountain lake, vegetation and medieval or Gothic ruins. They were created by the German artist Balthasar DUNKER (1746-1807), a student of Jakob-Philipp HACKERT and VIEN, who represented numerous Swiss landscapes around Bern and Zurich. These gouaches are small in size and very fresh. They have a plaque on their golden wand;
