Curiosity: pretty and chic bourgeois house lock with silvered bronze handle in the shape of the head of Bacchus.
The lock is decorated with small grapes with friezes of flowers and palmettes in silvered bronze.
The bottom is in painted metal, the rear handle is in brass in the shape of a tail.
It is from the Napoleon III period, mid-19th century, around 1850.
This lock is sold in its original state, it is in good condition and works perfectly.
We added a key which is not the original one and which works approximately on the front side of the lock (it would have to be filed a little or find a more suitable one).
