Rome, 3rd century AD. JC, very pretty glass balsamaire, elongated in shape with a flared neck. Slight iridescence and remains of soil encrustation. This beautiful object is highlighted by a custom-made base.
Height 12.1 cm (21.5 cm with base). The scale indicator in the last photograph is a small model of a lighter from a brand known to everyone. Good condition, neither missing nor cracked.
Provenance: - former collection of a great enthusiast of ancient Rome of Lebanese nationality living in Canada. - former collection of a French specialist in antiquities prior to the 16th century. Another Roman glassware from the same provenance is also on sale in our gallery.
