Candlestick in silvered bronze. It rests on three scrolled feet, the triangular base decorated with shells topped with an open book. The barrel decorated with scales, pearl friezes, ovates, acanthus leaves and laurel garlands. The fluted gadrooned binet. Slight wear to the silvering, the base formerly pierced to be mounted electrically. Transition style, 19th century. Dimensions: 40 x 15.5 x 12 cm
