"Silver Betel Box"
Betel box in embossed silver, Burma (Myanmar), late 19th / early 20th century. The contours are chiseled, embossed with scrolls, geometric motifs and decorated with zodiac animals in cartridges, the base and the lid are slightly flared. Provenance: Estate of the collector and Asian art dealer Claude de Marteau.
