Frame dimensions: 35 cm x 26 cm
Born August 26, 1869 and died February 24, 1942 in the same city, Fernand Piet entered the workshop of Fernand Cormon at the age of 16. After attending the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris, he attended the Grande Chaumière academy until the end of his life.
He had a taste for sketching and worked regularly in bistros and brasseries, the cabarets of Montmartre, the streets and public gardens, representing the typical characters of the city.
Some works by this artist are in the famous Shchukin collection.
