Graceful Louis XV period mirror with elegant frontispiece and gilded wood frame. Louis XV “rocaille” style ornamentation (1715-1780). Some small wear from time on the gilded wood. The mercury is also original and in good condition. Contoured lines reminiscent of the volutes of shells with their windings. The mercury mirror alone measures 51 cm / 50 cm. This is a “beautiful” object and a good size.
