Éric BATTISTA (born May 14, 1933 in Sète) is a French athlete specializing in the triple jump. It was his friend Georges Brassens who encouraged Eric Battista to devote himself to painting and the illustration of his poetic works. He gave him his first paintings. Eric Battista's works are presented in galleries in France and abroad and appear in the catalog of several museums.
