Peru, Chançay ovens, late 19th century or possibly older, huaco with double handles and a potbelly decorated on its upper part with geometric and zoomorphic motifs in shades of dark brown on a cream background. This very pretty terracotta pot, due to its shape, its colors and the style of the motifs, is characteristic of the productions of the Chançay culture.
Height 24.5 cm. The scale indicator in the last photograph is a small model of a lighter from a brand known to everyone.
Good condition except for slight wear and very small chips around the edge of the top; nothing unusual in relation to its age and no impact on the beautiful aesthetics of this piece.
