Rython, container with a long pouring spout dug like a canal. They were exclusively reserved for ceremonial libations. The origin of their shape seems to belong to Eurasia in prehistoric times, but it was the Greeks and the cultures of the Mediterranean basin who appropriated it in the 2nd millennium.
