These small models with a fixed cannula and a pewter ring handle were intended for use by children. Not to be confused with auricular injection syringes, whose short and swollen cannula at the base avoided direct and risky contact with the eardrum. Length: 13.5 and 12.3 cm. Period: 19th century.
