Superb and large sculpture representing 2 entwined lions. They rest on a period scrolled and molded base, the lion and the lioness are lying down, entangled in each other resting on their front legs. Superb sculptural work giving great realism to the mane and face. The original painted ensemble remains in very good state of conservation. Rare work due to its size and originality.
