Rare vase on pedestal from the Art Nouveau period (around 1900) in acid-etched glass from Emile Gallé in Nancy, probably after a drawing by Victor Prouvé.Superb decoration of a landscape and 6 women picking autumn crocuses in acid-etched and fire-polished glass in shades of pink and purple on a colorless background. This vase is signed below "Gallé" (signature engraved with the wheel and enhanced with gold).
Height : 30 cm. Diameter : 13.5 cm. Very good condition. No cracks, no chips, no restoration. Note some fine bubbles and slight original cooking defects (see photos). Very beautiful Japanese shape and rare decor.
